GTD, Links
20 comments
I’ve been away for over a week on holiday hense the lack of posts recently. From today I’m hoping to catch up with things. One of the first things I did when I got back home was to get up to date with the latest goings on with my favourite sites. I have quite a few productivity blogs bookmarked on my del.icio.us account so it certainly took a while
It got me to thinking which of these sites really stood out for me and provided top content on a regular basis. In an attempt to answer this I’ve come up with my top 10 GTD & productivity sites/blogs. Bear in mind, it’s by no means definitive. There are so many sites out there that I could quite easily wake up tomorow and change half the list
Lifehack.org/Lifehacker
I’m technically cheating by combining these two but they are the big sites in productivity circles and if you havn’t got them bookmarked where have you been? Both cover lifehacks, productivity and GTD issues and have numerous posts everyday. If you are not subscribed to their feeds you are definitely missing out.
Zen Habits
This blog is probably the most updated GTD blog out there and has new, original and useful content practically every day without sacrificing quality. I really don’t know how Leo does it! The blog in his own words:
This blog is really about setting and achieving goals, and the numerous goals that I want to achieve. But I believe that goals - especially ones that are worth reaching - are ultimately achieved through the building of good habits.
Ririan Project
The thing I like about the Ririan Project is it’s all top 10s and lists, such as 9 Great Ways To Live A More Positive Life and 11 Great Ways To Start Your Day, which makes for some very accessible and straight to the point content. The site covers the whole scale of personal development, from health to planning and relationships.
David Seah
While most known perhaps for his Printable CEO series (which in itself would be enough to include him in this list), the site has many interesting posts, often written from first hand experience; as a freelancer keeping yourself motivated and productive is always important.
Trizoko
A truly refreshing viewpoint on business practise and how to become more productive, particularly in the workplace, written in a unique no nonsense style
The Other Five
The following are no less important that the 5 above, but a great site is a great site, there is no need to explain or justify them any further
