My Initial Thoughts On Mozy Online Backup

I don’t normally get very tech heavy here at Organize IT, but that’s something I want to start rectifying. I’ve been looking for a suitable online storage tool for quite some time now so it seemed like a good idea to cover my experience today in this post. Having dabbled with various offline approaches like flash drives and external hard drives, I now feel like going online is the best way. But what app to use? I wanted something that was low maintenance, with easy retrieval, that didn’t tamper with the files and folders I uploaded in any way. In the end I found Mozy.

You did a poor presentation and your boss is giving you an hard time, your friends have all deserted you, and your marriage is on the rocks. Well that’s what it feels like anyway. In reality, most things are rarely as bad as they seem. We often let such things as our emotions or our pride effect our view on life and this can make dealing with the problem or coming to terms with it that much harder. The answer is to gain a little perspective, but that’s not always easy to do. However, it is one of the most important life skills you can learn so in this post I want to provide my thoughts and experiences on it.

The whole point of this self-help myths series is to provide an alternative perspective on common personal development topics and for many people there is no bigger a topic than top of procrastination. It is the original bad habit that causes you to get distracted when you should be working, means you put off important tasks, and ultimately leaves you have to rush your projects at the last minute. There is so much information out there on how to “overcome” it (even I have an admittedly great article, natch) that researching the topic itself can ironically become a form of procrastination.
