Organize IT recap for 23rd September 2007

  • Do you feel your job sucks? John Place has an article explaining why and how you can fix it, using Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.
  • The New York Times is finally dropping it’s charges to view online content which means which means all those useful productivity articles are finally free to view. Unclutterer has done a nice compilation of the best articles.
  • I’ve never really followed 43 Folders because its content seemed primarily focused on hi-fi tools and Macs, neither of which I tend to use. However it always has interesting content and they recently introduced their new design which is worth checking out.
  • The personal mission statement is a key element of personal development yet it’s something I’ve struggled with in the past (check out my previous post discussing it here). However I recently came across this five step plan for creating an effective mission statement which I will definitely have to try.
