Organize IT Recap: Best Software Of 2007, Social Networking

December 21st 2007   Recap   2 comments

Organize IT recap for 21st December 2007.

  • After asking for reader opinions on social networking sites I coincidently got an invite to join LinkedIn. I’m not sure yet what advantages or benefits it will bring to me or the blog, but it does look potentially more suitable for my needs than Facebook. You can view my profile here, be sure to add me to your network if you have an account!
  • With the new year getting ever closer, it’s only natural that I will take a look over the past twelve months on Organize IT. I’m not quite sure what format that will take yet, but I would really like it if you all left a quick comment sharing what you considered to be the best and most useful posts. It might give me a good idea of what direction to go in in 2008.
  • I’m not really a fan of software and web apps for organizing my life. I don’t like to rely too much on a computer and an internet connection, and I figure I spend enough time on my PC anyway. Do any of you guys feel the same way or it that not a problem for you? If you are into we apps though, Lifehack.org has a good look at eleven of the best releases from 2007.
  • What is a priority? What is not a priority? How do you even work it out? Rolf of Evomend, a regular here at Organize IT, has written an extensive guide to priorities covering a number of way to assess importance.
