Inspirational quotes for 25th August 2007.
Robert Stuberg: “The trouble with so many of us is that we underestimate the power of simplicity. We have a tendency it seems to over complicate our lives and forget what’s important and what’s not. We tend to mistake movement for achievement. We tend to focus on activities instead of results. And as the pace of life continues to race along in the outside world, we forget that we have the power to control our lives regardless of what’s going on outside.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson: “Without ambition one starts nothing. Without work one finishes nothing. The prize will not be sent to you. You have to win it. The man who knows how will always have a job. The man who also knows why will always be his boss.”
Pete Seeger: “Songs are funny things. They can slip across borders. Proliferate in prisons. Penetrate hard shells. I always believed that the right song at the right moment could change history.“

This is the final part of Organize IT’s birthday special where I posed three questions to a number of my favourite productivity bloggers. I hope you enjoyed this series and gained something from reading such varied opinions, I know I did. I will have to try doing another interview in the near future. Anyways, onto the final question I asked which was, “What are your experiences and advice for breaking bad habits and developing new ones?” Leave your own thoughts and answers to this question in the comments!

Welcome to the second part of Organize IT’s birthday special where I posed three questions to a number of my favourite productivity bloggers. The results have been very interesting to read. The second question I asked was, “What is the single productivity tip/lifehack that you have implemented that has had the most positive influence in your life?” As always please leave your thoughts and answers to the question in the comments, the results don’t have to just be from the ten bloggers

As promised a few weeks back, here is the first part of the Organize IT birthday interview where I asked a number of my favorite productivity bloggers three carefully chosen questions (at least I like to think they were carefully chosen). It certainly gave me a chance to see how effective Gmail is for sorting emails. This is my first attempt at an interview of sorts, so I hope it’s up to standard. The first question I asked was, “what events or experiences initially made you want to be more organized and productive?” Please share your own responses in the comments. Hope you enjoy this series!

Organize IT recap for 19th Aug 2007
- Next week I will be putting up a special 3 part series where I do a group interview of productivity bloggers to celebrate Organize IT’s first birthday. It will definitely be worth reading!
- One of the questions I asked revolved around habits. I’m sure you will all agree that breaking bad habits and building new positive ones is a tricky business. Lifehack.org has a 18 point guide on making new habits stick.
- Hormones can be pesky. However over at Men’s Health they have an extensive guide on how to control and tap into your body’s chemicals covering what you can do during an average 24hr day
- If you are interested in advertising on Organize IT, I am now signed up to Text Link Ads and you can view my site details page here for more info.
