A couple of years ago I shared my top ten favorite productivity blogs. However a lot has changed since then. Sites have shifted topic or died away, and new ones have appeared on the scene. I avoid following hundreds of blogs and I don’t even use an RSS feeder, so to keep me focused I regularly identify a handful of sites that interest me. With that in mind here is my current top ten of productivity blogs.
- GTDTimes
How can you go wrong with the official blog of GTD? That fact probably tells you all you need to know about this blog. It has a regular stream of GTD-themed news and original content. - Stepcase Lifehack
Yeah, it’s a bit of an obvious choice but over the last couple of years the site has really evolved and now has a team of writers that regularly puts out great content, such as How To Procrastinate Productively. - WhitehatBlackbox
A recent addition to my list. This blog covers productivity from a refreshingly personal perspective (and it also has a few neat forms and templates too). A particular favorite is his take on applying game experience points to real world living. Brilliant! - PluginID
Another recent addition. I’ve already mentioned this blog a few times recently. The site covers productivity, finances, health and the personal development face-off! It’s a good looking blog too. - David Seah
Investigate thoughts on productivity, motivation, inspiration and time management based on David’s own experiences as a freelancer. Perhaps best known for his Printable CEO series, and with good reason – those are some good looking, paper based tools!
It’s hard to describe each site in detail so forgive me for just listing the remaining five blogs below. They are just as important as the above five but there is only so much I can say for each one! Why not share your own top links in the comments?
