Organize IT recap for 02nd September 2007
- The guy behind Ubuntu, Mark Shuttleworth, has been interviewed over at Lifehacker and covers such issues as productivity, email, free software etc.
- Build your own office! I wish I had the time to do something like this. In fact I wished I worked in a place I could even dare contemplate doing it
- Curiosity killed the cat apparently. However, it never did me much harm, apart from occasionally annoying people with my barrage of questions. Check out these 10 reasons why you should be curious.
- The New York Times website of all places has a useful article explaining why we feel tired after lunchtime and what we can do to get through it.

Organize IT recap for 26th August 2007
- I hope you enjoyed the three part series where I interviewed a series of productivity bloggers, to celebrate the first birthday of Organize IT. I didn’t get many comments though, so if you have not read the posts yet, please do. There are a lot of interesting points.
- As part of the birthday celebrations I decided to put up a new design seeing as every other blog is doing it at the moment. Please let me know if you like it or not. I am wanting to go for a more polished, professional look than the patched together design I have had the for the last year.
- As part of this new design I am keen to take the blog to the next step and may in the near future buy a separate domain name. As part of this I am bringing back the advertising. To be part of this great opportunity you can read the details and apply here.
- Lifehack.org has an interesting article covering five productivity ideas the author is not yet buying. It was such a good read I will be adding my own thoughts in a post sometime next week. Keep an eye out for it.
- An issue I have increasingly noticed getting written about is how to prune/trim your next actions. Getting Things Done blog has a great 10 point guide on how to deal with unwieldy next action lists.

Organize IT recap for 19th Aug 2007
- Next week I will be putting up a special 3 part series where I do a group interview of productivity bloggers to celebrate Organize IT’s first birthday. It will definitely be worth reading!
- One of the questions I asked revolved around habits. I’m sure you will all agree that breaking bad habits and building new positive ones is a tricky business. Lifehack.org has a 18 point guide on making new habits stick.
- Hormones can be pesky. However over at Men’s Health they have an extensive guide on how to control and tap into your body’s chemicals covering what you can do during an average 24hr day
- If you are interested in advertising on Organize IT, I am now signed up to Text Link Ads and you can view my site details page here for more info.

Organize IT recap for 05th August 2007
- The authors of Cranking Widgets and LifeDev have developed a personal development network called LifeRemix which includes 14 hand-picked blogs. If you want some of the best writing all in once place then subscribe to the feed. Only question I have is where is Organize IT?
- It’s becoming possible to do more and more cool things through your browser. Now you can even download bittorrent files thanks to BitLet.
- Do you like to run? Whether it be jogging around the garden or doing a 10k marathon, Running Planet has lots of guides and tips, on such issues as training and nutrition.
- Organize IT is a year old this month (I need to dig through my archives to find the exact date) and I am currently thinking about ways to celebrate the occasion. If you have any ideas then please leave a comment.
