  • If you are looking for document templates, Make Use Of lists the three top sites that provide thousands of different templates. Whether it’s a business form or a legal document, you will no doubt find what you are after from those sites. If you are after productivity templates check out my collection!
  • Lifehack.org details some very clever hacks for index cards. In particular, I like the dry-wipe tip which allow you to re-use your cards. There are also a few other suggestions in the comments that are worth checking out.
  • The antipattern in programming is a piece of code often found in failing software. The same principle can be applied to task lists. Web Worker Daily details four antipatterns that are often found in ineffective task lists. It’s well worth checking through your list and seeing if you are susceptible to these problems.

  • If you found my article describing my de-clutter tracker, then you may like this chart by Real Simple, which details what needs cleaning around the home and when to do it in the form of a periodic table.
  • Lifestyle inflation is a big issue and I intend to write more on it in the future. In the meantime, check out this article by Dumb Little Man which covers 10 smart ways to live below your means. It’s not a straightforward thing to do but these tips are comparatively easy to incorporate into your life.
  • GTD isn’t flawless? Shock, horror! Steve Pavlina describes the missing half of Getting Things Done (hint: it’s the high level stuff).
  • While we are on the GTD bandwagon again, let’s play GTD bingo!

  • A lot of people have long term goals of being financially secure, but what does that really mean. It’s important to be clear what exactly you want from your goals, so this article explaining what financial security really is could prove useful.
  • This is a very impressive article listing the considerations you should make before getting married. If you are engaged or planning your wedding, it covers some very important points you and your partner may want to consider.

  • This upcoming Monday is Blog Action day where over 12,000 bloggers are expected to write about the environment and hopefully put this important topic on everyones mind. This should be a very exciting event with some of the biggest blogs taking part. Look out for my post on the issue on Monday (you can subscribe to stay up to date).
  • In a recent post I mentioned how I had updated my extensive list of blogs and sites that cover GTD and productivity. This update brought the number from around 80 to over 100. If you want to help support the community feel free to copy the list on your site (a reference back to Organize IT is all I ask).
  • Lifehack.org talks about the seven energy sinkholes and how to avoid them. This is not an early Blog Action day post, but instead covers personal energy and how you can get drained by being disorganized, trying too hard to please people, etc.
  • Who would have thought Star Wars could teach us so much about handling our money. Wouldn’t it be cool to have Yoda as your financial adviser?
